A great business aircraft acknowledges business realities. Just as we envisioned a spacious aircraft with exceptional performance, we pegged efficiency as a key objective of the Avanti II. The result: an aircraft that uses nearly 30 per cent less fuel than most business jets and nearly 25 per cent less than the most efficient twin turboprops.

Drag is the force that literally pulls a plane backwards, counteracting thrust. The same design elements that give the Avanti II its performance - its forward lifting surface, sleek fuselage, rear-facing propellers, and high-efficiency main wing-diminish drag.

Minimizing drag demanded not just a novel design, but a unique approach to manufacturing. We build the Avanti from the outside in, creating the taut skin of aluminium first. As close to perfect as possible, the fuselage defines as smooth uninterrupted curve. Air slides around the aircraft, not churning and roiling over it.

In short, the Avanti II commits even more energy getting you to your destination than pushing itself through the air. It's the very shape of efficiency.
